TSS held its inaugural Dawn Service for the community to gather and remember the service of men and women in uniform who served in all wars, conflicts, and humanitarian missions; as well as those currently serving.
Reverently acknowledged were the Old Boys who bravely gave their lives to protect our freedom; the 132 men who have died in military conflict since 1915. They were represented at the Dawn Service with 132 crosses in the ground.
The TSS cadet unit of 600 is one of the largest in Australia. The boys proudly wear their uniforms representing our school’s long-standing tradition of service. The OSA is pleased to have supported over many years, including contributing to the WWI historical uniforms worn by the Honour Guard.
