Today TSS teams from grades 9 to 12 tapped into their creativity to write and illustrate a book in a day - with all books created and funds raised going directly to childhood cancer research.
The annual Write a Book in a Day competition gives participants the chance to collaborate and flex their creativity, as well as compete for prizes, and help make a difference to the lives of kids with cancer.
All money raised from fundraising and entry fees go directly to The Kids' Cancer Project to support vital childhood cancer research.
Every book submitted will also be made available for free to kids in hospitals around Australia. Thank you to Dr Sarah Bond for supporting this event and for our student participants taking part in this valuable creative writing initiative.
